SUMMARY OF STEPS TO CHRIST.

STEPS TO CHRIST.
The author of this book is Ellen G White a member of the seven days
Adventist church. This book steps to Christ has 12 chapters each showing steps to Christ.
The major point of the book to me as a person is to show me the reason for my being created, God’s love for man, how sin drew man away from God and man's way of reconciling with God.

WAYS IN WHICH I AGREE WITH THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK.
This book steps to Christ talks about God's love for man even after man's transgressions against God, he still provides for us and his love is evident even in nature God is love to the extent of sacrificing his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins he himself is love he came in flesh to save us from perishing in the fires of hell he endured hardship, hypocrisy, rejection, pain and finally death. Jesus is kind, humble, and treated man with tenderness. All this tells us that both Jesus Christ and God loves us unconditionally.
It is man's responsibility to accept God into your life surrender ALL to him body, soul and spirit, the sins of others do not justify your actions, and some sinners feel that they only need God in moments of troubles. We need God at all times. Humble yourself, Be sincere, Have genuine Repent and confess of your sins, ask for forgiveness from God who is merciful (pg. 21) God in his infinite mercy will forgive your sins, God is just and he does not accuse sinners (pg. 27). Don't be like a dog that returns back to its vomit try your best to stop sinning, have faith, and get rid of guilt (pg. 17) and live your life independent and assured that God loves and have forgiven you. Also grow in Christ by reading his words, observing nature, rendering your gift to the church, Prayer etc.

WAYS IN WHICH I DISAGREE WITH THE BOOK.

It says in the last two lines on page 28 "God does not regard all sins as of equal magnitude, there are degrees of guilt in his estimation" in the bible Jesus made us understand that all sins are equal and no sin is small or big ALL SINNER'S SHALL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Yes, i can recommend this book to people because it talks about the procedures of getting closer to God and gives detailed explanations with some illustration to back it up.
